Roast Leg of Kid

Ingredients

1 Leg of Kid
-
3 cloves of Garlic (sliced into slithers)

3 sprigs of Rosemary

Seasoning

Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
-
Make small incisions into the meat on both sides. In each incision pop in a slither of garlic and poke in a few rosemary leaves.

Season the meat and place in a baking tray.

Roast the meat uncovered for 25 minutes per 500g plus 25 minutes.

Remove from oven, wrap in foil and leave to rest - we tend to leave it resting whilst we roast the potatoes.

Carve, serve with gravy and veg of your choice (a butternut squash purée works very well).
