Shop for Meat

Church Hillbilly have an established Meat Goat herd in West Wales based predominantly on Boer Goat genetics and can supply you with fresh or frozen Goat Meat, either direct from our doorstep, local delivery, or by mail-order.  We also attend Haverfordwest Farmers Market regularly (9am to 2pm every Friday)

All of our goats live on our smallholding in Pembrokeshire, and receive the very best welfare standards.  All of our meat stock are bred and raised by ourselves, we do not buy any kids in to rear for meat.  We have partnered with a local butcher to prepare all our meat, to keep 'food-miles' to a minimum and to minimise the stress on the animals at that 'difficult time'.  We are proud of our goats and our service, and always try to ensure our customers are totally satisfied.

The majority of our meat comes from animals between 9 and 18 months old, ensuring a depth of flavour in the meat.  Very occasionally meat from older animals may be available.

Worldwide, goat meat is the most commonly consumed red meat, and is increasingly popular in the UK. Goat Milk is generally available from supermarkets now, and the dairy herds are starting to develop kids for meat. Meat Goats are different in that the breed has been developed purely for their meat, and we believe the quality of the meat from these goats is far superior.
